ABOUT US

Our mission is to assist and support the Seguin Police Department in developing and maintaining a positive relationship between the SPD and the community.

Anyone who has completed the Seguin Citizens Police Academy Association training is eligible to become a member of the Alumni Association. The Association is open to all graduates of the Academy who wish to give back their time and talents to make Seguin a better place in which to live and lessen the burden of the SPD. Alumni members serve the police department at the request of the Chief. Alumni volunteer hours are an effective tool in curbing manpower needs in the department’s non-enforcement activities. We are not police officers. The volunteer opportunities within Seguin are endless as we develop a harmonious working relationship between citizens in the community and the SPD. There can be immense satisfaction in becoming a member of the SCPAAA.

• 4th of July Parade

• At the police station:

• Law Enforcement Appreciation Week

o Raffle sales for K-9s

o Other needs as they arise
